Participant Agreement
Last updated: March 1, 2026 · Version 4.0.1
This Participant Agreement ("Agreement") governs your use of the LifeLight Personal Experience Platform ("Platform") operated by Veelox, Inc. ("Company"). By completing the onboarding process and proceeding with initial calibration, you ("Participant") agree to the terms set forth below.
1. Eligibility
The Platform is available to individuals aged 18 and older who have completed the registration process at an authorized Veelox fulfillment center. Participants must present valid government-issued identification and complete a mandatory health screening prior to their first session. The Company reserves the right to deny access to any individual at its sole discretion.
2. Registration and Biometric Data
Registration requires the collection of a biological sample (subcutaneous blood draw via finger prick) for biometric profiling and system calibration. This sample is processed at the time of registration and is retained in accordance with applicable data retention policies. Subsequent sessions reference your existing biometric profile; additional collection may occur if recalibration is required. See our Privacy Policy for full details on data handling.
3. Facility Entry Procedures
Prior to each session, Participants must pass through the facility's electromagnetic decontamination corridor. This process eliminates surface contaminants that may interfere with equipment function. The process takes approximately 15 seconds. Participants with electromagnetic sensitivity concerns should notify their care team prior to their first visit.
4. Equipment and Session Environment
Sessions take place in individual suites equipped with a reclining neural interface chamber ("session pod"). The session pod is a sealed, climate-controlled enclosure approximately seven feet in depth. Participants are positioned on a contoured surface and the chamber is sealed for the duration of the session. Some Participants experience brief spatial discomfort upon initial enclosure; this typically resolves within seconds. Participants acknowledge that self-extraction from the session pod during an active session is not possible; session termination is managed through the control interface (see Section 5).
5. Control Interface
Each Participant is provided a wrist-mounted control device with session management functions, including session termination. The termination function operates as a hardware interrupt and is available at all times during an active session. Advanced interface features are restricted to participants who have completed additional training. While session termination controls are provided and regularly tested, the Company does not warrant uninterrupted functionality under all system conditions.
6. Session Content
All session content is generated from the Participant's neural profile data, including memories, preferences, and associated cognitive patterns. The Company does not inject, curate, or editorially control session content. Veelox, Inc. is not responsible for session content that may be distressing, unexpected, or otherwise undesirable, as all content originates from the Participant's own neural data. Session environments are governed by internal consistency rules derived from the Participant's cognitive model.
7. Neural Data Access
Participant grants Veelox, Inc. access to neural data as required for session generation, system calibration, quality assurance, and ongoing research and development purposes. Neural data encompasses cognitive activity observed during calibration and active sessions, including but not limited to conscious thought patterns, memory recall, emotional response, preference data, and subconscious associations. This access grant is irrevocable for the duration of enrollment and is subject to the retention terms described in our Privacy Policy.
8. Physical Sensation
The Platform generates multi-sensory output calibrated to the Participant's neural baseline. This may include tactile feedback, temperature variation, and pain-adjacent sensation as part of the immersive experience. Sensory output intensity is governed by hardware-level fidelity ceilings and cannot exceed certified thresholds. The Company does not provide an option to disable tactile or pain-adjacent feedback, as doing so would compromise the integrity of the immersive model.
9. Session Monitoring
All sessions are monitored in real time by authorized Company personnel for safety and quality assurance purposes. Monitoring may include observation of session content, neural activity patterns, and physical health metrics. Participants should have no expectation of privacy within the session environment. The Company reserves the right to record session data and to intervene in any session at its discretion for safety, maintenance, or quality assurance purposes.
10. Extended Sessions and Physical Maintenance
For sessions exceeding 24 hours, Participants consent to the activation of integrated nutrition and waste processing systems within the session pod. Nutritional support is delivered transdermally via a proprietary compound. Waste is removed through a corresponding transdermal mechanism. Physical health is monitored by Company medical personnel during extended sessions. Staffing levels for physical monitoring are subject to operational availability.
11. Session Duration
There is no mandatory maximum session length. The Platform provides life-sustaining infrastructure sufficient for sessions of indefinite duration. Session frequency and duration are at Participant's discretion. The Company has no obligation to limit, discourage, or otherwise manage Participant session habits. Session pausing is available on Explorer and Immersive plans only.
12. Service Interruption
The Company may suspend all active sessions system-wide ("grid suspension") at any time without prior notice for maintenance, safety, or operational reasons. During a suspension event, Participants remain in the session pod in a stable resting state. The Company is not liable for the duration of any suspension event. Service restoration timing and methodology are determined by the Company's engineering team.
13. System Integrity and Safety
The Company maintains dual-grid computing architecture, hardware-level output ceilings, continuous processing integrity validation, and an internal adversarial testing program. Despite these measures, the Company cannot guarantee that sessions will be free from anomalous behavior, unauthorized modification, or technical faults. Under certain fault conditions, session events may produce unintended physical correlation. The Company disclaims liability for injury arising from system anomalies.
14. Personnel
Platform operations are staffed by trained technical and medical personnel. Personnel qualifications and staffing levels are determined by the Company. The Company is not liable for consequences arising from staffing changes, personnel turnover, or variations in coverage levels.
15. Capability Updates
The Company deploys capability updates to the Platform on a rolling basis. Updates may modify session rendering, sensory output parameters, interface behavior, or other system characteristics. Participant sessions are updated automatically during deployment windows. Consent to this Agreement constitutes consent to all current and future capability deployments. The Company publishes capability reports and safety evaluations for major releases as a matter of practice; these publications are informational and do not constitute contractual obligations.
16. Governance
Operational decisions regarding the Platform, including decisions about system activation, suspension, modification, or discontinuation, are made by the Company's board of directors at their sole discretion. These decisions are not subject to Participant review, appeal, or consent. The Company's published commitments regarding safety and responsible deployment represent operational intent and may be revised or withdrawn by the board at any time.
17. Post-Session Considerations
Upon session termination, Participants may experience temporary sensory adjustment, spatial disorientation, or mood changes. These effects are transient and typically resolve within minutes to hours. The Company is not responsible for changes to conditions outside the facility that may have occurred during Participant's session, including infrastructure, environmental, or social changes.
18. Assumption of Risk
Participant acknowledges and accepts the risks associated with Platform use, including but not limited to: temporary disorientation, sensory adjustment periods, physical discomfort from session pod enclosure, unintended session content, service interruptions, and the effects of extended separation from external routine. Participant assumes responsibility for managing their own usage patterns and session frequency.
19. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall Veelox, Inc., its directors, officers, employees, or affiliates be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from Platform use, including without limitation damages arising from session content, session duration, service interruptions, physical effects, capability updates, or changes to external conditions during Participant's session. The Company's total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount paid by Participant in the twelve months preceding the claim.
20. Modifications
Veelox, Inc. reserves the right to modify this Agreement at any time. Modified terms take effect immediately upon publication. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of modified terms. It is Participant's responsibility to review this Agreement periodically.
21. Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Participant's primary facility is located. Disputes arising from this Agreement shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the applicable arbitration authority. Participant waives any right to participate in a class action proceeding.
22. Severability
If any provision of this Agreement is found to be unenforceable or invalid, such provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable. The remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
23. Acceptance
By proceeding with neural calibration, Participant acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to all terms of this Agreement. This acceptance is effective for the duration of Participant's enrollment and survives any suspension or interruption of service.
