Your Safety Is Engineered
Every system, every protocol, every person inside the fulfillment center exists for one reason: to keep you safe while you experience something extraordinary.
Is LifeLight safe?
Yes. LifeLight has maintained a 99.97% uptime rate across all facilities for the past 90 days. Every active session is monitored in real time by a trained phader. Every participant's physical health is managed by a dedicated vedder team. Our dual-grid architecture ensures that no single point of failure can interrupt your experience or compromise your wellbeing. The alpha grid — our independent failover system — has never gone offline. Not once.
Can I leave at any time?
Absolutely. Every participant wears a wrist-mounted control interface with three buttons. The right button ends your session immediately — no delay, no confirmation prompt, no cooldown period. You are always in control. The fact that fewer than 0.003% of participants have used this feature to permanently discontinue their plan is, we believe, a reflection of the quality of the experience rather than any limitation on autonomy.
What happens to my body during a session?
Your physical wellbeing is continuously monitored by vedder staff using real-time diagnostic instruments. Hydration, nutrition, circulation, muscle tone, and neural activity are all tracked. For extended sessions, our integrated gloid delivery system provides complete transdermal nutrition — sustaining your body without interrupting your experience. Waste removal is handled automatically through a secondary system. You don't need to think about any of this. That's what the vedders are for.
Has anyone ever been hurt during a session?
LifeLight sessions are governed by the rules of reality — a perfect reality generated from your own mind. You may experience physical sensation, including discomfort, as part of the immersive experience. This is a normal feature of full sensory integration and is calibrated to enhance realism. In the rare event that sensory output exceeds certified thresholds, our systems intervene automatically. Since the v3.1 stability incident, sensory fidelity is hard-capped with physical circuit breakers that cannot be overridden by software.
What was the v3.1 stability incident?
In September 2025, an unauthorized modification to the experience engine's processing code caused anomalous sensory output across multiple session clusters. The modification was identified, isolated, and purged. A full territory-wide grid suspension was executed to ensure complete remediation. All affected sessions were restored from pre-incident save states. A comprehensive post-mortem is available on our blog. The individual responsible has been reassigned. All security codes have been rotated.
What happens during a grid suspension?
Grid suspension is an emergency protocol that freezes all active sessions across the territory. It requires dual authorization from two senior engineers with green-card clearance — no single person can initiate it unilaterally. During suspension, participants remain in a stable state with no awareness of interruption. When the grid is restored, sessions resume from the exact point of suspension. Onboard life support in every cubicle ensures participant safety indefinitely, even in the unlikely event of a prolonged suspension.
Who monitors my session?
Every fulfillment center operates a core — a ground-level control corridor staffed by approximately 200 phaders working in shifts. Each phader monitors roughly 30 active sessions simultaneously, tracking sensory output, neural sync rates, session duration, and vitals. If anything drifts outside normal parameters, your phader is trained to intervene before you notice anything has changed. Our phaders are identified early in life for exceptional spatial reasoning and sustained attention, and are trained from childhood to do this work at the highest level.
Is the experience addictive?
LifeLight is not a substance. It is an experience platform that responds to your own thoughts and desires. When participants choose to spend more time in LifeLight, they are making a preference — the same way someone might prefer a fulfilling career over an unfulfilling one. We do not use the word "addictive" to describe a product that people freely choose to use because it consistently delivers on its promise. The only limits to LifeLight are the limits you put on it yourself.
What about my life outside LifeLight?
That's entirely up to you. Many participants maintain active external lives alongside their LifeLight sessions. Others have chosen to make the fulfillment center their primary residence. We support both approaches equally. Our role is to provide the best possible experience inside the platform. What you do outside of it is your decision. We've simply made sure that whatever you choose, you're choosing freely.
